The Art Institute of New York S/S ’14

Hey guys! I am back to share with you guys another fashion show that I’ve attended during NYFW. Yes, I am still churning out these post. Bear with me guys, I have a few more fashion week posts to share. Hopefully, I can get them out by this week so I can get back to writing to you guys about fall trends, ootd, makeup and all that jazz. As I mentioned in my last post, I was able to attend two shows during my first day of fashion week. The first show was Desigual and the second one was The Art Institute of New York.
For those of you who do not know, AINY is a college that focuses on  design, fashion, media arts, culinary and etc. This fashion show showcased collections from some of the students/alumnis of the college. This was probably my favorite show that I’ve attended because its nice to see up and coming designers showcasing their work especially during fashion week. There were 10 students showing their collections. All of the designers have some really amazing designs and collections, however if I had to pick a favorite, I would pick Michael Doyle’s collection. It was very high fashion and dramatic, which I love! Also, you don’t see very high fashion/couture pieces on the runway during NYFW, so it was a bit refreshing to me.

Even though I forgot my friend’s camera at home, I was able to get some decent shots of some of the clothes from my IPhone. Below are some of my favorite looks from the show.

A design from Diana Sanchez’s collection
Designs from Ij Park’s collection
A design from Michael Doyle’s collection
A design from Daniel Jennings’s collection
A design from Josimar Torres’s collection

Which look was your favorite? Let me know in the comments down below.
I’ll see you guys in my next post.
