Son Jung Wan S/S ’14

All photos were taken by me.

Prior to her runway show, Son Jung Wan said, “This season I was inspired by Morocco and the romantic, picturesque sun-drenched Sahara Desert. It is such a mysterious place where you can wander, get lost and find peace and beauty.”

I’ve never heard of Son Jung Wan until this year when she showed her fall collection in February. When I saw her this season, I can see why she is a critic favorite. I was the most excited to see her collection and she didn’t disappoint. Models took the runway in white gowns, orange hues, silky silhouettes, cut-outs; which was all inspired by the beautiful desert.

My favorite outfit was the gold sequin dress. It was very beautiful and I loved how the fit and the mesh in the middle of the dress. It reminds of a dress that a celebrity would wear on the red carpet. Hopefully, somebody does!

Which was your favorite?
