For Day 3 of NYFW, I decided to dress like a schoolgirl. Ha! It wasn’t intentional but upon looking at these pictures, there is a schoolgirl-esque vibe going on here. But in all seriousness though, deciding on outfits for February can be such a headache because of the weather. It was freezing outside but I braved the cold and wore a skirt all in the name of fashion!

I love how black and camel look together so I based my outfit with those two colors in mind. I love this coat from ASOS. It’s so comfy and I like how there was enough room for me to layer with a sweater.  Normally I’m wearing a black or gray coat during the winter, but this season I decided to add a little more color to my outerwear pieces.Since it was freezing outside, I decided to wear a boyfriend cut oxford shirt underneath my sweater to add an extra layer of warmth and to add more dimension to the look. I am a sucker for anything with a graphic on it and I thought that this sweater would be perfect for Valentine’s Day. It was my way of acknowledging it without being too literal. Since my color palette was a bit neutral I wanted to add a pop of red to the mix because a red lip looks great against black and beige clothing! I finally got my hands on the infamous Limecrime Velvetine. I will do a review soon once the Fashion Week madness dies down.
