This OOTD post is loooong overdue. I wore this look to day 5 (I think) of NYFW. Incorporating white or (as all the fashionistas call it) winter whites has been a big trend during the fall/winter months and I wanted to give it a try.I haven’t worn a pair of white jeans in a very long time and there’s a reason for that. I’m one of those people that when wearing white jeans pay extra close attention to where I sit and look at my jeans to make sure that there are no dirt marks on them. I’m so paranoid but I managed to keep these some what clean. Since it was snowing earlier in the day, gray spots from the puddles were on the bottom part of my jeans. I don’t know how they even got there since I was careful when walking (sad face). Anyway I got these jeans on sale from Old Navy and I love the fit of their Rockstar jeans. It’s the perfect skinny jean! I’ve been into wearing chiffon hybrid tops. I love how this top from Missguided is very casual on the top then at the bottom is the chiffon, which gives it a more dressier look. Since I was centering my look around white, I decided to pair this look with a gray coat and bag and then added a minor pop of color with a purple/grey scarf. Btw, I still don’t know how to properly wear a blanket scarf as you can tell by my first picture. Ha! The key to wearing whites or a somewhat all white outfit is to break up the color by adding black or subtle hints of color-nothing too bright. I was originally going to incorporate more white to this look but I just ended up adding more grey, so I might call this my “50 Shades of Grey” look as oppose to “Winter Whites”. It sounds better :).
